Islam
Convert to Islam in the early days of Prophethood is in Asad al-Ghaba: (463/5)
"She was ancient Islam."
Marriage
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) married Zayd ibn Harithah, his freed slave and follower, in the same way that Islam has taught equality in the world and has brought the low and the high to a certain level. Although there are thousands of examples of this in history, but this incident is superior to all of them in its nature because it lays the foundation for practical education. The Quraysh and especially the Hashemite family had the status in Arabia due to the sanctity of the Kaaba. In this sense, even the kings of Yemen could not claim to be their equals, but Islam merely considered "piety" to be the standard of greatness and pride and claim to be the motto of ignorance. On this basis, although Zaid was apparently a slave, he Since (Muslims and men were righteous, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had no difficulty in marrying Zainab to them.) Apart from teaching equality, there was another purpose to this marriage which is mentioned in Asad al-Ghaba. Is:
* "Marriage for the scholars of the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Prophet" * (463/5)
That is, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) married her to Zayd in order to teach her the Qur'aan and hadeeth. They stayed together for about a year, but then the relationship did not last and thanksgiving fell. Zayd Complained in the court of Prophethood [and wanted to divorce: (Sunan Tirmidhi 531 ")
Translation: “That is, Zayd came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and said that Zainab speaks to me and I want to divorce her.” (Fath al-Bari 403/8 Kitab al-Tafsir) Bar used to tell them not to divorce, it is in the Quran.
But this friendship did not work out and in the end Hazrat Zayd divorced her. Zainab was the sister of the Holy Prophet. And she was brought up in your training, she had accepted this relationship at your behest. Which was against her dignity (because Zaid had been a slave, so Zainab did not like this relationship). However, they got divorced, so you wanted to marry her for her own comfort, but the Arabs Until then, I was considered equal to the adopted real son, so in the opinion of the common people, you used to speak Tamil, but since it was merely a ritual of ignorance and was intended to eradicate it, this verse was revealed:
Interpretation: "Moreover, you stow away in your spirits what Allah will reveal, and you fear men, be that as it may you should fear Allah." (Parties)
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to Zayd, 'Take my message to Zaynab.' When Zayd came to her house, she was kneading the dough. He wanted to look at her, but then he turned away after some thought and said, 'Zaynab.' I have brought the message of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). I have received the answer. I do not form any opinion without istikhaarah.
And the marriage took place. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came to Zainab's house and went inside without asking.
At dawn, William, who was the true embodiment of the simplicity of Islam, was provided with bread and curry. When all the things were gathered, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) sent Anas to call the people. 300 people participated. At meal time, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to form groups of ten men, who would take turns coming and returning after eating. (Fath al-Bari 403/8)
In this invitation, the verse of hijab was revealed, the reason being that some people were invited, ate and talked and it took so long that the Holy Prophet (sws) was disturbed. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was silent from Furt Marwat. He used to go in and out repeatedly. Zainab was also sitting in the same house and her face was towards the wall. Seeing the movement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), some people thought and got up and left. Anas informed the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) who was in the house of the other wives. When he came out, the language of revelation was as follows:
Translation: "O you who believe! Do not go to the houses of the Prophet, except when you are allowed to eat, so that you do not wait for its preparation, but when you are invited. And do not sit idly by. This displeases the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). So they pay attention to you. If you ask them for anything, ask them out of the veil. ”(Surat al-Ahzab)
Death
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to the wives of the purified ones.
It was a metaphor for generosity, but the spouses considered it a reality and measured their hands together. Due to her generosity, Zainab proved this prophecy to be true. She was the first to die in the purgatory. And he bequeathed a shroud to Umar so that one of them would be given in charity. So this bequest was fulfilled. Omar offered the funeral prayer and then asked the purified spouses who would enter the grave. The person who used to enter his house, so Osama bin Zayd, Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Jahsh, Abdullah bin Abi Ahmad bin Jahsh took him down to the grave and buried him in Baqiya. (Bukhari: 191/1) , Muslim 341/2, Asad al-Ghaba 465/5)
Zainab died in the year 20 AH and was 53 years old. Waqidi writes that she was 35 years old at the time of her marriage to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) but this is against the general tradition. Was 38 years old. Zainab had left only one monument in the abandoned property, which Waleed bin Abdul Malik bought during his reign for fifty thousand dirhams and added to the Prophet's Mosque. (Tabari)
Appearence
Zainab was short but beautiful and fit. (Zarqani 283/3)
