Emigration to Abyssinia

She migrated with them to Abyssinia, stayed in Abyssinia for some time and returned to Mecca. From here she migrated to Madinah. She has the advantage of being the first woman to migrate to Madinah.

Emigration to Medina

The incident of migration is very instructive. Hazrat Umm Salma wanted to migrate with her husband * (Her child Salma was also with her) * But Hazrat Umm Salma's tribe resisted, so Hazrat Abu Salma left her. They had gone to Madinah and returned to their homes. She used to go and sit in Ibtah and cry for seven or eight days and her family members did not even realize it. One day a member of her family came out of Ibtah and saw Umm Salma crying. He came and said to the people, "Why do you oppress this poor man? Let him go and hand over his child to him. When permission was granted to leave, they took the child in their arms and mounted the camel and set out for Madinah." She was all alone, that is, no man was with her. In Taneem, Uthman ibn Talha * (the key bearer of the Ka'bah) * looked up and said, "Where is the intention?" He asked, "Is there anyone with Madinah?" He replied, "God and this child." , 'Uthman said, "It is not possible. You can never go alone." Saying this, he grabbed the reins of the camel and set out for Madinah. Whenever he stopped on the way, he would sit the camel under a tree and go to Umm Salma. When it was time to leave, he would leave the camel with a saddle on it and would say to Umm Salma, "Ride." Hazrat Umm Salma says, "I have never seen such a noble man." Staying on the floor, he brought Madinah. When he saw the valley of Qaba, he said, "Now go to your husband. He is there."Then they went to him(Zarqani 272 / 3,273)

When Qaba arrived, people would ask him about his condition and when he mentioned his father's name, he could not believe it. * (The surprise was that he was traveling alone. The noble women did not dare to go out like this). Umm Salma was forced to remain silent, but when some people left for Mecca with the intention of Hajj and sent Rak'ah to their homes, the people became convinced that she was indeed the daughter of the Umayyads, Abu Umayyah being the most famous of the Quraysh. And he was an honorable person, so Hazrat Umm Salma (RA) was seen with great importance. (Musnad Ahmad: 307/6)

Death, remarriage and family circumstances

Hazrat Abu Salma (RA) was a great princess. She took part in the battle of Badr and Uhud. She got some wounds in the battle of Uhud which he could not recover from. Died (Zarqani 273/3) Hazrat Umm Salma (may Allah be pleased with her) came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and announced the news of his death and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) himself visited his house. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “Oh, how he died in poverty.” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “Be patient, pray for his forgiveness, and say,“ O Allaah! Give him a better successor than him. ” The Prophet PBUH read nine (9) takbeers. After the prayer, the people asked, “O Messenger of Allaah! Did you forget He said that he deserved thousands of takbeers. At the time of his death, Abu Salma's eyes were left open. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) closed his eyes with his blessed hand and prayed for his forgiveness.

At the time of Umm Salma's death, Umm Salma was pregnant. After giving birth, the 'iddah passed. Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) gave the message of marriage, but Hazrat Umm Salma (may Allah be pleased with her) refused. Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) arrived with the message of Hazrat Umm Salma (may Allah be pleased with her).

(1) I am a jealous woman.

(2) I am a family man.

(3) I am older.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) accepted all these troubles. Umm Salma, what could be the excuse now? He said to his son (whose name was Umar) Get up and marry me to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). (Bukhari: 74/1, Zarqani: 255/3)

This event was conducted in the last days of Shawwal, 4 AH.

      Sunan Ibn Majah says:

Translation:

"At the point when Abu Salamah kicked the bucket, I recollected the hadith which he (Abu Salamah) used to describe more than me." When I began supplicating, when I needed to say that God!"Give me a better successor than Abu Salma" then she would say in her heart "Who can find me better than Abu Salma?" But I continued this prayer. Until Allah Almighty made Muhammad Rasoolullah his successor ...

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) gave them two mills, a jug and a leather pillow filled with date bark.

She was very shy. In the beginning, when Hazrat Umm Salma used to visit the house, she would proudly carry the girl (Zainab) in her arms. When she saw this, she would return. So they got very angry and took the girl away. But later this thing became less and less and the other women started living the same way.

She used to take great care of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). He is alive and you will have to serve him.

The famous life story of Hazrat Umm Salma (RA) is as follows: Although she did not take part in the trench warfare, she was so close that she listened to the Prophet (PBUH) and said that she remembers the time when her chest was full. Mubarak was covered with dust and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to pick up bricks and recite verses to the people. Suddenly he saw Ammar ibn Yasir and said, "(sorry) Ibn Sumayyah! You will be killed by a defiant gathering." (Musnad Ahmad 289/2)

The Prophet (peace be upon him) had sent Abu Lababa to talk to the Jews during the siege of Banu Qurayzah (5 AH). During the consultation, Abu Lababa gestured that you would be killed, but later revealed the secret. So much so that he tied himself to the pillar of the mosque. This remained the case for a few days, then repentance was accepted. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to visit the house of Hazrat Umm Salma (ra). What is the reason for laughing at this time?" He said, "Abu Lababa's repentance has been accepted." He asked, "Shall I give him this good news?" He said, "Indeed, in the event that you need." He yelled, "Abu Lababa!

Congratulations, your repentance has been accepted.

In the same year that the incident of Hara took place (ie in the year 36 AH), Hazrat Umm Salma passed away at the age of 84 years. Hazrat Abu Huraira offered funeral prayers and was buried in Janat al-Baqi. Zarqani 276/3) Waleed bin Utbah (Abu Sufyan) was the governor of Madinah at that time because Hazrat Umm Salma had instructed him not to offer my funeral prayers, so he went to the forest and instead of Hazrat Sent to Abu Hurayrah. Grace and perfection

Although all the spouses had a high status in terms of knowledge, Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqah and Hazrat Umm Salma had no answer in them, so Mahmud ibn Labid says.

Translation: The wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) were a repository of hadeeths, but Aisha and Umm Salma had no rivals or rivals among them. (Musnad Ahmad 317/6)

Marwan bin Hukam used to ask them questions and make announcements.

"Why should we ask others when we are the wives of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)?"

Hazrat Abu Hurayrah and Ibn Abbas, despite being rivers of knowledge, were not deprived of their river of grace. (Ibid. 300, 302/6) A large group of followers were at their mercy. And she could do it in the style of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Once someone asked why the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to recite. He used to recite the verses one by one and then he recited them himself.

He had no rival in the hadith except Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqah (RA). Three hundred and seventy eight (378) narrations have been narrated from her. On this basis, she is included in the third category of hadith narrators.
