She was very afraid of the Dajjal. There was a man named Ibn Sayyid in Madinah who had many signs about the Dajjal. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) met him and Abdullah bin Umar met him one day. Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) started beating him. When Hazrat Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with him) heard about it, he said, "What is the use of this for you?" You do not know that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said that the reason for the emergence of the Dajjaal will be his anger. (Musnad Ahmad: 283/6, Muslim Sharif: Kitab al-Fitna)
It is narrated in Tirmidhi that once Safiyya (may Allah be pleased with her) was weeping. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to her and asked her why she was weeping. She said: Hafsa has told me that * He said: Hafsa! Fear God, then Hazrat Safiyya was told that you are the daughter of the Prophet, your uncle is the Prophet and you are in the marriage of the Prophet, in what can Hafsa be proud of you. (Tirmidhi Chapter Fazal Widows of the Prophet )
Once Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqah and Hazrat Hafsa said to Hazrat Safia that we are more honorable in the eyes of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) than you. We are also his wife and cousin. Safiyya was displeased. She complained to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “Why did you not say, 'How can you be more honorable than me?' Father is Aaron and my uncle is Moses.
Hazrat Ayesha and Hazrat Hafsa were the daughters of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (RA) and Hazrat Umar (RA) who were nomadic in prophethood. Therefore, Hazrat Hafsa and Hazrat Ayesha were also one in comparison to other marriages.
